Talent Versus Hardwork?

Do you believe in Talent or Hardwork?

I believe talent comes from interest, at the end of the day hardwork is still the way to reach your goals.

I used to have people coming up to me and tell me
"How talented you are"

I was pretty amused.
Mind you I'm really happy for that praise but am I really talented?
I don't know.

I only know I spent a hell lot of time drawing, drawing and still drawing.
The money I spent on papers and pens may be more than my transportation every month.

I was really interested in Designing... and I tried to do design in Poly.
Forunately or Unforunately my parents stopped me.

They told me that design got no future... so I opt for Engineering instead.
My grades actually sux... got 23 for Best Five... and load of crap for the rest

English - C6
Chinese - B4
Maths - B3
Science - C6
Principle of Accounts - B4
Arts - C6
History - D7

The only courses available were
1) Mechatronics Engineering
2) Offshore and Marine Engineering
3) Nursing - (?!~?!@??!?! I only like Japanese AV Nurses)

So I studied Mechatronics in 1995 Temasek Polytechnic...
Then Bachelor in Mechatronics in 2002 in University of Newcastle via Distance Learning...
Then Advance Diploma in Business Management in 2005 in MDIS...

See my efforts going further and further from where I wanted to start?
